His other professional skills include Effective Negotiation Skills, coupled with Project Planning and Management Diploma from Australian Institute of Management, a complete range of technical courses in Aviation Engineering from Pratt & Whitney Canada, FlightSafety International and Honeywell, USA.

His expertise in aviation engineering is augmented by US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification, Airframe & Power Plant License. Besides, diplomas in Automotive Technology and Logistics Engineering Management are additional areas of his professional strength.

Shahid Hamid's ultimate hallmark is his more than four decades long aviation sector background comprising of applied aerospace engineering skills and aircraft sales experience. He is a member of Pakistan Engineering Council, Pakistan Institute of Engineers and Royal Aeronautical Society, United Kingdom.
